-Created to foster effective participation of female MPs in the parliamentary processes, to increase women’s representation in parliament and to strengthen female MPs’ capacity to ‘mainstream and monitor gender equality within parliamentary affairs.
-TWPG identifies inheritance law, marriage law, sexual and reproductive health rights, and trafficking of women and children as the major areas that need legislative changes and policies.
