Issues dealt with by the caucus
UMPABOL has driven the adoption of laws aimed at greater equality and protection of women, including: the Law on the Right to a Life Free of Violence for Women (2013), the Law Against Political Harassment and Violence Against Women (2012), the Comprehensive Law Against Trafficking in Persons (2012), and the Law Against Racism and All Forms of Discrimination (2010).
UMPABOL also promoted the National Framework for Gender Equality which instilled requirements around women's access and participation in politics.
