Notes
The Group of Women Parliamentarians is made up of all women Members of the National Assembly.
The leadership of the Group of Women Parliamentarians has the following composition:
a) A President;
b) Two Vice-Presidents;
c) Two Secretaries.
Leadership is elected, by an absolute majority of women deputies in office, on the proposal of political parties or coalitions of political parties with parliamentary seats, in strict respect for the principle of proportionality. The term of office of the leadership of the Group of Women Parliamentarians is two and a half years, without prejudice to possible changes, whenever necessary.

The Group of Women Parliamentarians aims at the internal and external exchange of within the parliament and to ensure the promotion of women and the adoption of institutional mechanisms to address issues related to the promotion of gender equality.
The Group of Women Parliamentarians operates on the basis of its own regulation, approved by the Plenary of the National Assembly.
