Note on the Distribution of seats according to sex
The Constitutional Court nullified the results for two seats contested in the December 2014 elections to the Senate. Consequently, the new legislature, which convened on 27 February 2015, had two vacancies. As at 11 March, there were 19 women out of a total of 100 senators.
