All Caucus members are female and members of the People's Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR-RI) or the Regional Representative Council (DPD). 
The KPPRI (Kaukus Perempuan Parlemen Republik Indonesia) was originally founded in 2001.

Activities

Issues dealt with by the caucus
2020-2024 theme of the caucus is "Excellent Women, Advanced Indonesia" with an aim to integrate women into the development process by strengthening national regulations to ensure the role of women and build cooperation between groups and the state to create a friendly environment for women's roles.

The KPPRI also promotes women's participation and representation in public life and bills affecting women, such as the Elimination of Sexual Violence Bill, Land bill, Indigenous People Bill etc.
