- The Caucus contributes to the law drafting process to improve the Lao legislation in regard of gender-based violence.
-Specific activities have included: development of a resolution on gender issues in parliaments for the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum in 2009; organization of female leadership training; gender training workshops for parliamentarians; gender screening of budgets and laws, as well as oversight of their implementation; and advocacy work for the advancement of women.
