If the Public Prosecutor's Office requests authorization to prosecute or arrest a Deputy in criminal or correctional matters, or a request to suspend proceedings already underway, a detailed report must be provided for a Special Committee or the Bureau to examine the case with conclusions presented to the Assembly. The lifting of parliamentary immunity or suspension of detention or proceedings already instituted requires a two-thirds majority vote of the Deputies present, taken by secret ballot.
