Notes:
The government may pass emergency regulations without advance parliamentary approval, which are valid for up to 3 months. The Law requires the Government to lay the emergency regulations before the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee of the Knesset. The Knesset is then authorized to prolong or annul the emergency regulations.
