Notes:

The Knesset's approval is not required to prosecute a member, but members are granted immunity from prosecution for an offense committed in the performance of their duties.

A member can only be arrested if caught in the act of committing a crime involving the use of force, disturbing the peace, or treason. In these cases, the Knesset's approval is not required. But if detention surpassing ten days is needed, a request for revoking the member's immunity from arrest must be submitted and granted by the Knesset.

The Knesset, upon request, may also agree to withdraw immunity from arrest in relevant cases.

A member can request the Knesset to grant them immunity from
prosecution for any other offense which may be granted by a decision of the plenum. If granted, the member cannot be prosecuted during their term in the Knesset.
