Notes:

On 28 October 2022, Parliament revised the number of its women members from 81 to 82. There are therefore six (instead of five) women nominated by political parties. The Monthly ranking of women in national parliaments as at 1 September and 1 October 2022 were retrospectively revised on 28 October 2022.

Prior to the first session of Parliament, Mr. Moses Masika Wetang'ula, from the party Forum for the Restoration of Democracy – Kenya (FORD–Kenya), resigned from the Senate. He was elected the new Speaker of the National Assembly on 8 September, and as a result, became an ex-officio member of the Assembly. The number of men in the Assembly therefore increased from 267 to 268. There were thus 268 male and 82 female members in the Assembly as at 8 September 2022.
