- 16 women members nominated by political parties according to their proportion of members in the Senate

- The Speaker (ex officio member)

Note on the parties or coalitions winning seats:

The distribution of seats above corresponds to the composition of the Senate as at 16 September 2022.

Kenya Kwanza Alliance* is comprised of the following parties:

- United Democratic Alliance: 32 seats (22 elected, 10 nominated)

- Democratic Party: 1 seat (elected)

Azimio la Umoja - One Kenya Coalition Party is comprised of the following parties:

- Orange Democratic Movement: 20 seats (13 elected, 7 nominated)

- Wiper Democratic Movement - Kenya: 4 seats (3 elected, 1 nominated)

- Jubilee: 5 seats (4 elected, 1 nominated)

- United Democratic Movement: 3 seats (2 elected, 1 nominated)

*Kenya Kwanza Alliance initially held two more seats, or a total of 35.

However, two senators subsequently resigned as senators. On 8 September, they became the Speaker of the National Assembly and the Senate respectively.

- Mr. Moses Masika Wetang'ula of the Forum for the Restoration of Democracy – Kenya (FORD -Kenya) party, Speaker of the National Assembly

- Mr. Amason Jeffah Kingi of the Pamoja African Alliance (PAA), Speaker of the Senate and ex-officio member of the Senate.
