La Lettonie a adhéré à l’Union européenne en 2004 et a rejoint la zone euro le 1er janvier 2014. Le taux de conversion irréversible a été fixé à 0,702804 lat letton pour un euro. Par souci de cohérence, les montants d’avant 2014 indiqués dans New Parline ont été convertis à ce taux. Le facteur de conversion PPA pour l’année 2013 a également été mis à jour.
