Basic allowances are an average of the amount received per member.

Expenses paid for mandated travel (accommodation, transport) and mobile phone subscription.

Constituency allowance.

A daily attendance allowance (diurnă) is only received by members who do not reside in Bucharest or Ilfov County, along with an allowance to cover travel from their constituency (Law no. 96/2006, Art. 41).

A set daily allowance of 261lei may also be received by deputies who travel within the country on official parliamentary business, including activities related to the citizens' organizations belonging to the national minorities, within the number of days established by the Permanent Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies (Decision of the joint Permanent Bureaus of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate no. 1/2018).
