Notes:
A bill requires approval from both the House of the People and the Upper House to pass. However, if the Upper House amends or rejects a bill, the House of the People can overrule their decision with a two-thirds majority vote and send the bill to the President for signing and publication in the Official Gazette.
The Houses can also request the formation of a joint committee of the two Houses in order to settle differences and come up with a draft law that both Houses agree on.
