This section focuses on facilities and services that Parliament provide for MPs to facilitate their day-to day work. For instance, many parliaments provide personal staff to work directly for the parliamentarian and/or office at parliament. Some parliaments also provide for a constituency office, housing and/or other cash or in-kind allowances for constituency work (e.g. travel, overnight stay, etc.). Certain parliaments pay subsidies to MPs to recruit personal staff or pay for the office.
