Long description of the field - The figures in PPP dollars may be retrospectively updated based on periodic revisions of PPP conversion factors published by the World Bank, thus affecting past PPP calculations in Parline. Data is limited or unavailable for some countries (e.g. Cuba, Eritrea, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, South Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of), and Yemen). In some cases -- the PPP value for the country in closest proximity is applied: Andorra (Spain's PPP), Liechtenstein (Germany's PPP), Monaco (France's PPP). Data on budgets and member salaries/allowances are collected in local currency and then automatically calculated in PPP dollars to allow for international comparison.
